John serves as a Wealth Manager, working directly with clients to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans to address their goals and most complex financial needs. John practices in the areas of retirement planning, investment management, tax planning, estate planning, business succession planning, risk management, and charitable planning. John’s approach focuses on a thorough understanding of your circumstances in order to provide you with a truly customized plan to help achieve your goals.
Prior to joining Creative Planning, John was an investment adviser with a large registered independent advisory firm. John was responsible for having a holistic understanding of his clients’ circumstances and worked closely with them to help achieve their goals.
John earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Dakota State University.
John and his wife, Ilse, live in Fargo, North Dakota. In his spare time, John enjoys traveling, playing boardgames, and spending time with family and friends.
