The Estate Planning Attorney conducts reviews of current and prospective client estate plans and consults directly with wealth managers. This position requires knowledge of estate planning and tax issues, as well as advanced research skills to assist in providing possible solutions for complex client issues.

Kansas City

Administrative Paralegal

The Administrative Paralegal provides administrative and substantive legal support to the estate planning attorneys and estate planning paralegals of Creative Planning’s legal department.

Assistant Accounting Manager (P&C Insurance)

The Assistant Accounting Manager will support existing accounting systems and maintaining agency financial records.

Business/Corporate Attorney

The Business/Corporate Attorney’s primary job responsibility is to provide counsel to the firm’s business clients, including with respect to entity structuring, development and implementation of mergers, acquisitions and other transactions and development and implementation of business succession plans.

Business Process Specialist, Data Technology

The Business Process Specialist’s primary responsibilities include building tools that automate & maximize the efficiency of our teams while working alongside other specialists in supporting the functions of the centralized services business process department.

Commercial Lines Insurance Producer

Creative Planning Commercial Insurance Producers partner with agency commercial clients to protect their assets via structuring and procuring of insurance products. The Producer’s primary role is to generate new business and work with underwriters from a wide variety of companies to find the best option to meet the needs of the client. 

Data Engineer

A Data Engineer at Creative Planning helps departments throughout the company obtain data and insights to support their business functions. This role provides an opportunity for the Data Engineer to work within a highly collaborative and engaging environment. It also requires working with our internal and external users.

Elder and Special Needs Planning Attorney

The Elder and Special Needs Planning Attorney works closely with families, long-term care facilities, and government agencies providing guidance and legal services for elder and special needs clients. This position requires a genuine passion for helping these clients, knowledge of estate planning, elder and special needs issues, and a willingness to lead efforts assisting these families.

Estate & Trust Administration Attorney

The Trust & Estate Administration Attorney’s primary job responsibility is to work directly with clients to administer trusts and estates and maintain an ongoing dialogue with families, keeping them informed throughout the process.

Estate & Trust Paralegal

The Estate & Trust Paralegal provides estate and trust administration services on behalf of Creative Planning Legal under attorney supervision.

Estate Planning Advisor

The Estate Planning Advisor is responsible for assisting wealth managers in the firm to deliver a visual representation that maps out the estate plan for prospective clients.

Estate Planning Paralegal

The paralegal’s primary responsibility is to take on as much work from the attorney as possible, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. The Estate Planning Paralegal provides administrative and substantive legal support to the attorneys of Creative Planning’s legal department.

Personal Lines Account Manager (P&C Insurance)

The Account Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day processes of
customer accounts. They will review renewals in advance and re-market existing
accounts. The Account Manager works with company representatives to obtain
information and quotes from the carrier to present to customers.

Real Estate Attorney

The Real Estate Attorney advises firm clients on residential and commercial real property transactions. This position requires knowledge of real estate transaction issues, as well as advanced research skills to assist in providing possible solutions for complex client real estate issues

Real Estate Paralegal

The Real Estate Paralegal provides real estate transaction services on behalf of Creative Planning Legal under attorney supervision.

Software Engineer

A Software Engineer at Creative Planning helps ensure that the company has first rate reliability and stability to keep everyone operational. This role provides an opportunity for the software engineer to work with a highly collaborative and engaging environment. It also requires working with our internal and external users.

Systems Analyst

The primary responsibility of the Systems Analyst is to ensure that Creative Planning has first rate reliability and stability and that all the employee’s needs are met quickly to keep everyone operational.

Tax Staff / Manager / Director (CPA)

The Tax Manager will work directly with clients to prepare and deliver income tax returns as well as consult on any questions or planning with the wealth managers. They will be responsible for their own group of advisors to support as well as their own book of tax returns to prepare.

The Account Specialist delivers high quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients through the day‐to‐day management of an assigned group of accounts. The Account Specialist works under direct supervision to support Consultants and Senior Consultants on assigned Plans.
