Joe Cortese

Joe serves as a Wealth Manager, working directly with clients to develop a cohesive strategy to help meet their most complex goals and financial needs. His comprehensive approach addresses wealth management issues in the areas of retirement planning, investment management, taxes, estate planning, business succession planning, corporate stock option planning, insurance and charitable planning.
Prior to joining Creative Planning, Joe was Vice President at a national independent advisory firm, helping high net worth client build customized investment portfolios. Prior to that, he spent nine years as Vice President - Financial Consultant at one of the nation's largest financial services companies.
Joe graduated from Trinity College with a degree in Economics and was captain of the lacrosse team.
Joe lives in Westport, CT with his wife Amanda and their two children – Jackson and Gracie. Joe enjoys boating, fishing, playing guitar and spending time with his family.
