Jim Reding, JD, CTFA, AIF®

Jim serves as a Managing Director, leading a team of advisors and working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.
Jim has been providing multigenerational wealth planning advice for high-net worth clients and their families for over 20 years. Prior to joining Creative Planning, Jim was the President of an independent registered investment advisory firm in St. Louis. Jim has written numerous articles on investments and financial planning in national and local publications, including Money magazine and the St. Louis Business Journal.
Jim attended Rockhurst University on an athletic scholarship for soccer and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance & Economics with honors. He earned a Juris Doctorate degree from St. Louis University School of Law, cum laude. He is a Certified Trust & Financial Advisor as designated by the American Bankers Association® and as well as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary as designated by Fi360®.
Jim and his wife Kate, have three children, and he enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
