Jay Beebe, CFP®

Jay serves as a Partner and Wealth Manager, working with clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.

Prior to joining Creative Planning, Jay was a wealth advisor with an independent RIA, where he also served on the firm’s investment committee and acted as the lead on tax and insurance planning issues.

Jay earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Oklahoma State University and his Master of Science degree in accounting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

Jay has been named the #2 financial advisor in Kansas on Barron’s list of Top Advisor Rankings by State (2019-2025)¹ and as one of Barron’s Top 100 Independent Wealth Advisors in America (2019, 2021-2025).² He has also been featured in Forbes as a Best-In-State Wealth Advisor (2021, 2025).³

Jay is active in many professional, civic and not-for-profit organizations, serving on the board of directors for the Greater Kansas City Financial Planning Association and Wildwood Outdoor Education Center. He and his wife, Mary Lee, reside in Lenexa and have two sons, Luke and Sam. In his free time, Jay enjoys fishing, golfing and spending time outside with his family.
