Steve Hickman, CFP®

Steve serves as a Private Wealth Manager, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.

With more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, Steve has developed a deep knowledge of providing clients with comprehensive wealth management. Prior to joining Creative Planning, Steve worked as a Senior Investment Counselor for one of the nation’s largest investment advisory firms, where he advised high-net-worth individuals, addressing their unique investment, tax and estate planning needs.

Steve earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, philosophy and politics from Western Washington University. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

Steve and his wife, Ellie, enjoy spending time outside with their dog, Roo, and daughter, Ona, hiking and riding bikes around the city of Portland. During the winter months, they enjoy traveling, snowboarding and ski touring in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest.
