Rich Winters, CFP®, AAMS®, CRPC®

Rich serves as a Private Wealth Manager, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.
Rich has been in the financial services business for nearly 25 years. Prior to joining Creative Planning, he was an advisor and the director of estate planning for a national independent investment advisory firm. He previously worked for a national brokerage firm as an advisor to high-net worth clients. Rich is also a former adjunct professor at the University of Dallas School of Business, having taught financial planning and investment courses, and had the honor of serving with the U.S. Army Rangers’ 75th Ranger Regiment for four years.

Rich earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Westminster College. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, and a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist(SM), an Accredited Asset Management Specialist(SM) and a Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor(SM), as designated by the College for Financial Planning.

Rich is married and has three children. He spends all of his free time trying to keep up with his family.
