Monica serves as a Wealth Manager, working directly with her clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.
With nearly a decade of experience in the financial services industry, Monica offers her clients a truly comprehensive planning experience. Prior to joining Creative Planning, Monica worked for an independent investment advisory firm, where she was involved in financial plan creation and execution, portfolio construction, investment management and investment research.
Monica received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee, graduating magna cum laude. She is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER<sup>®</sup> professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
Monica and her husband, Charlie, have two children — Murphy and Ferris. Together they enjoy traveling, playing games, spending time outdoors and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers. Monica is also a volunteer member of the Board of Directors for CASA of East Tennessee, a charitable organization she’s deeply passionate about.
