Lee Roberts

As a Managing Director of Business Services, Lee is passionate about working with growth-oriented companies across the United States to increase their top and bottom lines, reduce risk and create enterprise value. As organizations move through their business life cycle, they’re met with many challenges across the core components of their business, and Lee offers the planning mindset, solutions and actionable strategies he’s used to help grow Creative Planning Business Services into a $100M division.

Lee is a highly sought-after leader in business services, software and human capital management, and he keynotes at several national conferences annually. Prior to joining Creative Planning, he was a Director of Firmwide Sales. In that role, he grew his firm’s revenue from $7M to $125M, and the firm was named a "Pacesetter" by the AICPA, listed as Inside Public Accounting’s Fastest Growing Firm, and in the top five for growth of all Top 100 CPA firms nationally.

Lee holds Bachelor of Science degrees in marketing and management from the University of Minnesota. He currently serves as the President of the National Independent Payroll Providers Association as well as the Director of Finance for two nonprofit organizations.

Lee and his wife live in Minnesota, where they enjoy boating, attending college sporting events and competing in endurance athletics.
