John serves as a Wealth Manager, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.
With more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, John offers his clients a truly comprehensive planning experience. Prior to joining Creative Planning, John worked as a wealth advisor for an independent investment advisory firm.
John received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bryan College. He is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary<sup>®</sup> professional, as designated by the Center for Fiduciary Studies, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER<sup>®</sup> professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
When not working, John enjoys spending time outside in East Tennessee with his wife and their three children, reading, playing disc golf, playing and teaching music, and coaching his kids’ soccer teams.
