Jenifer Pratt, CFP®, PFS, MBA, CPA

Jenifer serves as a Private Wealth Manager, working closely with her clients to establish and maintain comprehensive financial plans, and regularly review comprehensive tax planning. Specializing in investment management, estate planning, tax planning, risk management, employee benefits, education planning and retirement planning, Jenifer covers all aspects of professional wealth management. Her original path was in medicine, with a focus on the patient, their family, and balancing truth with empathy and respect. When Jenifer made the decision to change her career path to finance, her desire to help people navigate through their life changes with empathy and respect did not change. She is passionate about being a trusted advisor and resource to her clients, and enjoys getting to know, and hearing stories from, each and every one.
With more than 20 years of experience in the financial service and public accounting industries, Jenifer has the patience and understanding to provide outstanding service as clients proceed through their financial journey.

Prior to joining Creative Planning, she served as a Senior Wealth Advisor for an independent registered investment advisory firm in San Diego. She also previously served as a Tax and Wealth Manager for a large accounting firm in San Diego. With extensive experience in tax compliance and planning, Jenifer has the knowledge to intersect financial planning, investment, and tax matters to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals.

Jenifer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Nevada Reno as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Phoenix. She is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards as well as a Certified Public Accountant. She is an active member of the AICPA and is passionate about volunteering in the community, as an advocate for financial literacy youth education through Junior Achievement. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater San Diego.

Jenifer has two college-aged children – Christian and Willow. In her spare time, she enjoys attending sporting events, hiking, and spending time with her two French bulldogs.
