Jay Beebe, CFP®

Jay serves as a Partner and Wealth Manager, working directly with clients to develop and implement strategies to address their financial, investment, insurance, tax and estate planning needs.
Prior to joining Creative Planning, Jay was a Wealth Advisor with an Independent RIA where he was responsible for working with clients across the country. He also served on the firm’s investment committee and acted as the lead on tax and insurance planning issues.

Jay graduated from Oklahoma State University with his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and minor in Accounting. He has also earned his Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and Certified Financial Planner™ designation.

Jay has been ranked as the #2 Financial Advisor in the state of Kansas on Barron’s list of ‘Top Advisor Rankings by State’ (2019-2024*) and in Barron’s as one of the ‘Top 100 Independent Wealth Advisors in America’ (2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023*). Jay has also been featured in Forbes as a ‘Best-In-State Wealth Advisor’ (2021*). In 2016, he was selected as one of Ingram's "40 Under Forty" honorees which recognizes the most accomplished business and community leaders in the Kansas City region under 40 years of age.

Jay is active in many professional, civic and not-for-profit organizations, serving on the board of directors for the Greater Kansas City Financial Planning Association and Wildwood Outdoor Education Center.

Jay and his wife Mary Lee reside in Lenexa and have two sons, Luke and Sam. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, golfing and spending time outside with his family.
