Jake Waldenmeyer, CFP®, AAMS®

Jake serves as a Wealth Manager, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.

Prior to joining Creative Planning, Jake held positions as a wealth advisor at an independent investment advisor and a financial consultant at a major broker-dealer.

Jake earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance, with a minor in economics, from the University of Kansas. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, and an Accredited Asset Management Specialist^SM, as designated by the College for Financial Planning.

Jake is active in his community, serving on the board of directors for Giving the Basics and previously serving as a fundraiser for the Colorectal Cancer Alliance in memoriam of his mother, Jennifer. He and his wife, Mary, reside in Overland Park, Kansas, and have three sons: Jay, Dean and Robbie. In his free time, Jake enjoys fitness, playing and watching sports of all kinds (challenge him to a tennis match!), traveling and eating well.
