Ed Brownstein, CFP®

Ed serves as a Wealth Manager with Creative Planning. He works directly with clients to develop cohesive strategies that will help meet their most complex goals and financial needs. His comprehensive approach focuses first on a thorough understanding of each client’s specific situation so that he can develop truly customizable plans in the areas of investment management, retirement income planning, tax, insurance, estate planning, business succession planning, corporate stock option planning and charitable giving strategies. Prior to joining Creative Planning in 2015, Ed worked at a major financial services firm helping high net-worth clients achieve their goals. He has over 15 years of experience as an investment professional.
Ed received his Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and his Master’s degree from the University of Texas - San Antonio. He also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
Ed lives in Plano and has three children. He enjoys mountain biking, playing basketball with his children and coaching youth sports.
