Dean Stange, JD, CFP®

Dean serves as a Private Wealth Manager, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.
Prior to joining Creative Planning, Dean worked with an independent investment advisory firm as a senior financial advisor for more than a decade. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Dean worked for nearly 20 years as a practicing attorney, helping clients with estate planning, business formation and succession planning. This depth and breadth of experience in financial and legal issues allows Dean to assist clients in solving complex financial, tax and estate planning challenges.

Dean earned his law degree from the University of Wisconsin, where he graduated with honors. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

Dean and his wife, Michelle, have three children: Ethan, Catherine and Evan. In his spare time, Dean enjoys reading, outdoor activities, sports and spending time with his family.
