Dan serves as a Partner and Managing Director, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.
With more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, Dan offers his clients a truly comprehensive planning experience. Prior to joining Creative Planning, Dan was the Director of Financial Planning and Operations at an independent investment advisory firm in Colorado, where he helped high-net-worth individuals and families achieve their goals.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in financial management from the Clemson University Honors College. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER<sup>®</sup> professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor<sup>®</sup>, as designated by the Exit Planning Institute.
Dan and his wife, Whitney, have two children, Sutton and Everly. In his spare time, Dan enjoys the outdoors, golf and good food.
