Wealth Manager

Dan serves as a Private Wealth Manager, working directly with clients to create and maintain customized financial plans addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life. This includes focusing on investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits, and estate planning.
Prior to joining Creative Planning, Dan served as the Chief of Investor Behavior for an independent investment advisory firm. He was able to blend his unique background as a psychologist and financial advisor to help clients and other advisors understand how their psychological hardwiring, upbringing, and current environment can impact financial behaviors. As a licensed clinical psychologist, Dan has worked in various settings including private practice, Navy medicine, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Dan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Biola University, where he graduated with honors. He earned a Master of Science and Doctor of Psychology degrees in Clinical Psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology. Dan is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

Dan and his wife Jordanne have two boys – Scott and Beau. In his spare time, Dan enjoys golfing, swimming with his family, and dominating his fantasy football leagues.
