Cris serves as a Partner and Managing Director, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.
With more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Cris has developed an in-depth knowledge of providing clients with comprehensive wealth management. Prior to joining Creative Planning, he worked his way up to become President and CEO of an independent wealth management firm.
Cris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business economics from the University of San Diego. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER<sup>®</sup> professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards; an Accredited Investment Fiduciary<sup>®</sup> professional, as designated by Fi360; and a Certified Investment Management Analyst<sup>®</sup> professional, as designated by the Investments & Wealth Institute.
Cris and his wife, Shelley, have three daughters: Ela, Cate and Petra. In his spare time, Cris enjoys serving in the community, traveling, live music, working out, golfing and spending time with his family.
