Christy Tillman, CFP®, AIF®

Christy serves as a Director of Client Engagement, introducing clients to the firm's wealth management services. These services encompass all aspects of a healthy financial life and include customized investment management, financial planning, charitable planning, retirement plan consulting, tax planning and preparation, and estate planning services.
Prior to joining Creative Planning, Christy was a wealth management consultant for a fee-based independent investment advisory firm, where she provided one-on-one investment management guidance and facilitated educational financial planning workshops and study groups. Christy has also worked as a wealth manager, specializing in financial planning for public employees and small business owners.

Christy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and business from Westmont College. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, as well as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary™, as designated by Fi360.

Within her community, Christy actively participates in the Junior Achievement Financial Literacy Program, which is dedicated to educating students in grades K-12 about entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial concepts through experimental, hands-on programs. Christy is also a member of the Neptunian Woman’s Club in Manhattan Beach, California, which is dedicated to volunteerism and fundraising in support of charitable, educational, cultural and civic services. In her free time, Christy enjoys listening to live music, traveling and riding bikes along the Southern California coast with her husband, Brian, and two daughters, Winter and Avila.
