Christy Tillman, CFP®, AIF®

Director of Client Engagement

Christy serves as an Institutional Advisor at Creative Planning. In this role, she manages assets exclusively for nonprofit organizations and private foundations. Her areas of expertise include fiduciary training, endowment-related best practices and development of Investment Policy Statements and Spending Policies.
Previously, Christy served as a wealth management consultant at a firm providing services for a network of independent investment advisors. She also worked as a wealth manager, specializing in financial planning for public employees and small business owners. She has been working in the financial services industry since 2015.

Christy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and business from Westmont College. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary™, as designated by Fi360.

In addition to her professional achievements, Christy is deeply involved in community initiatives. Christy regularly participates in the Junior Achievement Financial Literacy Program and is a member of the Neptunian Woman’s Club in Manhattan Beach, California. She previously served as a board member of the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications. Christy is also dedicated to animal welfare and volunteers with several Southern California rescue organizations. In her leisure time, Christy enjoys live music, traveling and biking along the Southern California coast with her husband, Brian, and their two daughters.
