Catherine Hoffman, JD
Catherine serves as a Private Wealth Manager, working directly with her clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning. Catherine specializes in every aspect of owning, operating, and selling a closely held company, including business transition planning.
Catherine brings to her clients more than 34 years of experience as a practicing attorney. Over the past 6 years she has been working exclusively for businesses and individuals in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Creative Planning, she operated her own law firm and served as a legal analyst for an independent investment advisory firm.
Catherine earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Rollins College. She also earned her Juris Doctor at the Dickinson School of Law. She completed foreign studies in comparative law at Cambridge University, the University of Florence, and the American College of Paris. Catherine currently serves on the Ivy Tech Community College Foundation Board of Directors and is a member of the Indiana Leadership Trust for the National Federation of Independent Business.
Catherine and her husband of 27 years enjoy cooking, traveling, horses, dogs, boating, serving in their community and spending time with their family and friends.
