Colleen Maldonado, CFP®, MBA

Colleen serves as a Private Wealth Manager, working directly with her clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.

With more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Colleen has developed an in-depth knowledge of providing clients with comprehensive wealth management. Prior to joining Creative Planning, Colleen was the Director of Planned Giving at an institutional firm where she served high-net-worth individuals and families.

Colleen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Colorado and her Master of Business Administration degree from Regis College. She is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

Outside the office, Colleen is married with two teenage sons. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast and a passionate hiker and recently achieved a lifelong dream by summiting Mount Kilimanjaro. This accomplishment reflects Colleen’s commitment to setting and achieving ambitious goals, both personally and professionally.
