Sailu Timbo

Sailu serves as a Business Advisor working directly with his clients to develop and maintain an inclusive and productive culture. Sailu offers practical solutions that not only promote a harmonious workplace but also directly impact the bottom line.
With more than 20 years of experience in leadership and the diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) space, Sailu offers his clients an in-depth perspective and a collaborative approach to fostering an open and healthy work environment. Prior to joining Creative Planning, Sailu served as an Executive Director of DEI, where he partnered with key stakeholders to create and implement a business-wide DEI strategy.

Sailu received his Bachelor of Arts degree in African American world studies from the University of Iowa, and he currently serves on the Greater Des Moines Partnership Inclusion Council.

Sailu and his family enjoy golfing, boating and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
