Ryan Block

Ryan serves as a Managing Director, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.

With more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Ryan has developed an in-depth knowledge of providing clients with comprehensive wealth management. Prior to joining Creative Planning, Ryan was a managing director at an independent investment advisory firm.

Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Illinois, where he graduated with high honors. He then earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. Ryan is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® professional, as designated by the Center for Fiduciary Studies.

Ryan and his wife, Anne, have two children: Cassie and Nathan. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys coaching Cassie’s and Nathan’s softball, baseball and basketball teams.
