Nick Karabas, JD

Nick is a Wealth Manager, working directly with clients to develop and coordinate the financial, investment, tax and estate aspects of their plan. He brings with him extensive experience as a practicing tax and estate planning attorney. Most recently, he practiced in the Private Client Group of Bryan Cave LLP. With Creative Planning, Nick combines his extensive tax planning experience with asset and financial management to provide objective comprehensive wealth management solutions. He joined Creative Planning because of its commitment to holistic and comprehensive problem solving and its track record as one of the fastest growing private wealth management firms in the country.
Nick’s professional affiliations include: American Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association, Bar Association of Metropolitan Kansas City, Kansas City Estate Planning Society and Eastern Kansas Estate Planning Council.

Nick earned his Accounting degree from the University of Missouri and his J.D. cum laude from the St. Louis University School of Law. Nick was listed among the top financial advisors in the state of Arizona on Barron’s list of ‘Top Financial Advisors by State’ (2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022*).

Nick also serves on the Executive Board of Directors of Christian Brothers College High School - a Catholic secondary school committed to providing a college preparatory education. Historically, the Brothers of the Christian Schools have devoted themselves to the instruction and Christian education of youth, with a special sensitivity to the poor and the disadvantaged.
