Nate Farmer, CPA/PFS, CFP®

Nate serves as a Wealth Manager for Creative Planning. He works with clients to develop a strategy to meet their most complex goals and financial needs in the areas of retirement, investment management, tax, estate, business, insurance and charitable planning. Nate is also a member of the firm's investment committee.
Nate began his financial service career 14 years ago as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a regional accounting firm. Prior to joining Creative Planning, Nate worked at a large national financial services company as Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager. He deeply values the difference he can make for his clients by offering them his professional knowledge, personalized counsel and service as well as his financial skills. Nate believes there is a significant need for trusted financial advice – offering educated clients wise counsel and service.

Graduating from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance, Nate continues to pursue experiences that enhance his professional responsibilities to clients. He has passed the CPA exam and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. He gives thanks that he has the opportunity to use his skills to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Nate and his wife Liz have a son – Liam, and live in Elkhorn. Nate serves on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands, a program providing one-to-one mentoring services to young girls and boys in the Omaha and Council Bluffs area.
