Matt Heatley, CFP®

Matt serves as a Private Wealth Manager, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.

Matt has spent his entire career in the financial services industry and has developed an in-depth knowledge of providing clients with comprehensive wealth management. Prior to becoming a Private Wealth Manager, Matt served Creative Planning as a Senior Financial Planner, working directly with clients to create and monitor their comprehensive financial plans. Prior to that, he was a Senior Investment Manager at Creative Planning, executing many of the planning-led trading strategies Creative Planning believes in, such as tax-loss harvesting and opportunistic rebalancing.

Matt received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. Matt has been featured in Forbes Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors list (2026)¹.

Matt and his wife, Cheyene, have one child and two dogs. In his spare time, Matt enjoys watching football, being outside and spending time with his family.
