Kevin Butzen, JD

Kevin serves as an Estate Planning Attorney, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized estate plan to assist in protecting their wealth and loved ones from probate, taxes and creditors.
With more than a decade of experience in the legal services industry — and a decade of experience in the financial services industry before that — Kevin offers his clients a comprehensive estate planning experience. Kevin has worked with a wide range of clients with large estates and specific planning needs. Prior to joining Creative Planning, he was an estate planning attorney in solo practice.

Kevin received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and business administration, magna cum laude, from Coe College and his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Marquette University.

When not working, Kevin enjoys time on the water, time in the woods, time at ball games and time at nice restaurants, enjoying all the fun the state of Minnesota has to offer.
