John Shevlin, CFP®
Wealth Manager
John serves as a Private Wealth Manager, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.
Having spent the majority of his professional career in the financial services industry, John has developed an in-depth knowledge of providing individuals, families and business owners with comprehensive wealth management. Prior to joining Creative Planning, John worked as a financial advisor at multiple independent investment advisory firms.
John earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Education degree from the University of Minnesota. While there, he was a student-athlete on the football team, serving as team captain his senior year. John is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
John and his wife, Azzahya, have two children: John Jr. and Alyza. In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
