Jason Edmonds

Jason serves as a Managing Director and Partner, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.
With more than three decades of experience as a financial advisor, Jason offers his clients a truly comprehensive planning experience. Prior to joining Creative Planning, Jason served as a Founding Principal and Portfolio Manager at a national investment advisory firm. Jason earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kansas.
A third generation Lawrence native, Jason and his wife, Machaela, have three wonderful children (Jack, Graham and Sarah) and a golden retriever (Wilson). Jason has served as board chair of the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce, the Lawrence Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Lawrence Arts Center, Friends of the Lied Center and the Douglas County Estate Planning Council. He has been a board member of Leadership Lawrence, VanGo and the Bert Nash Endowment and leads various fundraising efforts for the LMH Health Foundation, the Douglas County Community Foundation, CASA and many others.
