As a Wealth Manager, Dan works directly with clients to develop and implement a strategy to address their financial, investment, tax and estate planning needs.
Prior to joining Creative Planning, Dan worked as a Financial Planner for 13 years at an independent investment firm, where he served high net worth clients.
Dan graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with his Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant. Dan is currently one of a select group of CFP Board Ambassadors throughout the country, whose mission is to provide personal finance resources to the community, policymakers and local media. In 2013, he served as Media Director for the Financial Planning Association of Greater Kansas City. He has been quoted in several print media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal and the Kansas City Star. Dan has been awarded a Five Star Professional Wealth Manager Award for 2023*.
Outside of the office, Dan serves on the stewardship team at his church. He enjoys boating, fishing and spending time with his wife and three children.
