Ben McKiernan

Ben serves as an International Wealth Manager, serving American expats and other cross-border families. He specializes in both U.S. and international investment management, estate planning, tax planning, risk management, currency hedging and retirement planning.
Bringing more than seven years of experience in the financial services industry to his role at Creative Planning, Ben previously worked for a private wealth management firm in New York (where he assisted U.S., UK and European expats with their cross-border investment management and planning). Prior to that he worked in the UK as an independent financial advisor, helping both corporate and private clients implement wealth management and benefit schemes.

Ben earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from Manchester Metropolitan University. He also has a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning in the UK.

In a former life, Ben was the chairman/manager of a local football club in the UK, achieving great success prior to relocating to the United States.
