Nancy Metzger, JD, CFP®

International Wealth Manager

Nancy serves as a Private Wealth Manager in the International Division of Creative Planning. She works directly with clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement and estate planning.

Nancy has more than 20 years of experience advising clients, including international financial management and sustainable and socially conscious investment strategies. Prior to joining Creative Planning, she served as the executive director of a U.S.-based international impact investment fund and as a senior officer and trust fund administrator for the world’s largest global development institution focused on the private sector in developing countries. Nancy has developed an in-depth knowledge of expatriate and cross-border wealth management needs and has a long history of serving clients with double-taxation treaty issues. She has lived and worked in Eurasia, Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East and speaks English, Spanish, French and Russian.

Nancy earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University and a law degree from George Washington University National Law Center. Nancy is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, a CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing, and a licensed attorney (formerly practicing) in the State of Maryland.

Nancy and her husband, Bruce, have one daughter (Tatum) and one incredibly spoiled dog (Zeus). In her spare time, Nancy enjoys taking nature walks, golfing, going to art museums, reading, listening to music, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.
