Shawn Meade, MS, CFP®, CPA

Shawn serves as a Private Wealth Manager, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.
With close to 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Shawn started an independent investment advisory firm as a Partner/Senior Financial Advisor that he then merged into a larger independent investment advisory firm prior to joining Creative Planning. Shawn has spent his entire career in the financial services industry and has developed an in-depth knowledge of providing clients with comprehensive wealth management.

Shawn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from The Ohio State University, where he graduated with honors. Shawn then earned a Masters degree in financial planning from Georgia State University. Shawn is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, and a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Georgia.

Shawn and his wife, Nicole, have two children: Ryan and Kevin. In his spare time, Shawn enjoys drinking and cellaring wine, watching college football, traveling and spending time with his family and two dogs, Buddy and Odin.
