Nicole Mead

As the Director of Business Development, Nicole partners with companies across the United States to work toward increasing their top and bottom lines, reducing risk and creating enterprise value. Nicole is passionate about fostering strong client relationships and understands the unique goals and hurdles businesses face as a prior business owner herself. In her daily work, Nicole provides clients with strategic guidance and actionable solutions to address their most complex challenges in areas such as business advisory, technology, tax, accounting and more. Whatever phase of the business life cycle a client is in, Nicole helps ensure they have the support needed to drive growth and efficiencies.

Nicole began her career in computer programming and software engineering, giving her the skills to provide a systematic approach to helping businesses streamline their operations. As her career progressed, Nicole focused more on business development, working for national corporations in the surrounding areas of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Prior to becoming the Director of Business Managers, Nicole served Creative Planning as Senior Channel Sales Manager where she led a specialized sales team focused on providing tailored services and expertise to clients across various industry groups.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer information systems from the University of Dubuque and is pursuing a Master of Strategic Leadership degree from Mt. Mercy University. She serves on the Community Development Innovation Council with the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance (CRMEA), is a member of the Campaign Cabinet for the United Way of East Central Iowa and is a founding member of the Iowa Giving Crew.

Nicole and her family live in Iowa, where they enjoy camping, biking, traveling and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
