Jeff Gorman

Jeff Gorman is a Partner and Senior Business Advisor at Creative Planning Business Services, bringing over 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, finance, operations, and executive leadership. He has served as CEO, President, CFO, and court-appointed Receiver across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, software, commercial print services, distribution, food, marketing, retail, and construction.

Jeff’s background includes deep transactional experience involving public and private equity, debt financing, sell-side and buy-side M&A, restructuring, and recapitalization. His ability to lead companies through growth, transformation, or transition is grounded in hands-on leadership and a strategic approach to both financial and operational performance.

Prior to joining Creative Planning, Jeff began his career as a CPA with RSM. He went on to acquire, grow, and successfully exit a mid-market commercial printing company. He also held roles with Minnesota Management Partners, a private equity fund focused on small to mid-sized portfolio companies, where he worked closely with businesses on strategy, operations, and capital structure.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Gustavus Adolphus College and is a licensed real estate professional in the state of Minnesota. He is a former CPA and a member of the Turnaround Management Association’s Upper Midwest Chapter. In 2022, he was recognized with the Minnesota Transaction of the Year Award.
