Eric Filimon, JD

Eric serves as an Estate Planning Attorney, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized estate plan to assist in protecting their wealth and loved ones from probate, taxes and creditors.
With more than two decades of combined experience in the legal and financial services industries, Eric offers his clients a truly comprehensive estate planning experience. Prior to joining Creative Planning, Eric served as a wealth manager for a national investment advisory firm, where he worked primarily with high-net-worth families to help build and protect their assets. Eric has also spent time with a boutique estate planning law firm as an attorney.

Eric received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the Furman University, his Master of Business Administration degree from Stetson University and his Juris Doctor degree from Barry University School of Law.

Eric and his wife, Julie, enjoy traveling, cooking, sporting events, watching movies and spending time with their three children: Reid, Emma and Jack.
