Chris Daniels
Managing Director, Partner
Chris serves as a Managing Director, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.
Prior to joining Creative Planning, Chris was the managing partner of an independent investment advisory firm. In this role, he steered the firm's strategic direction and partnered closely with clients to help them achieve their financial goals across financial planning, tax strategy and investment management. Chris began his career as an investment specialist at one of the world’s largest private banks, where he advised clients on portfolio construction and investment solutions spanning public and private asset classes.
Chris earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a CFA® charterholder, as awarded by the CFA Institute, and an active member of CFA Society Philadelphia.
Outside of work, Chris finds joy in spending time with his wife, Emily, and their three wonderful children: Warren, Margot and Jamie. In addition to his commitment to his family, Chris serves as the President of the board for a local non-profit.
