Charlie Mosher

Charlie Mosher is a Business Advisor at Creative Planning Business Services, where he specializes in corporate restructuring and turnaround consulting. He works closely with financially distressed companies across a wide range of industries, supporting them through periods of operational change, liquidity challenges, and strategic transition.

Charlie’s restructuring experience includes interim management support, financial reporting and analysis, 13-week cash flow forecasting, lender and creditor negotiations, and the preparation of court-mandated reports. He collaborates with company leadership, legal teams, and key stakeholders to stabilize operations, assess financial viability, and develop practical strategies to restore value and drive long-term performance.

Before transitioning into the business advisory group, Charlie spent over five years in the firm’s business tax practice. In that role, he focused on tax compliance and planning for partnerships, S corporations, and their owners—particularly within the construction, real estate, and professional services sectors. He also advised clients on tax-efficient exit strategies and represented businesses before federal and state tax authorities.

Charlie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a Master of Accounting from Iowa State University. He is a licensed CPA in both Kansas and Missouri and is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA), and the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA).
