Barbara Foster

Barbara serves as a Director of Practice Development, helping extend the firm’s services into specialized industries and other trusted networks where clients have distinctive needs, such as business ownership, aviation, law enforcement, dentistry, professional sports and entrepreneurship.

Prior to joining Creative Planning, Barbara served in several executive banking roles and was a wealth advisor at a large investment firm. Throughout her decades long career, she has been a catalyst for positive change, building consensus, developing best practices and creating environments of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science degree from William Woods University, where she graduated cum laude.

When not working, Barbara has enjoyed lending her skills to many nonprofit organizations and boards of directors, serving in numerous leadership capacities.
