Ty Johnston, AIF®

Ty serves as a Wealth Manager, working directly with his clients to create and maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.
Ty has spent his life growing up around the financial services industry and has developed an in-depth knowledge of serving clients with comprehensive wealth management. His approach focuses on a thorough understanding of your circumstances in order to provide a truly customized plan to help achieve your goals. Prior to joining Creative Planning, Ty worked for an independent investment advisory firm as a financial advisor.

Ty earned a Bachelor degree in Entrepreneurship and Finance from Creighton University, where he was a member of the Jays baseball team. He also earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of St. Thomas. Ty is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) as designated by the Center for Fiduciary Studies. In his spare time, he enjoys being a mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program as well as traveling, skiing and go-karting.
