Tony Favela, CRPC®, AIF®

Tony Favela is a Partner and Managing Director of Creative Planning, working directly with clients to develop a cohesive strategy to meet their goals and most complex financial needs. Tony’s comprehensive approach solves wealth management issues in the areas of retirement planning, education planning, investment management, tax, estate planning, business succession planning, insurance, and charitable planning. Tony will work with you to personally understand your needs and provide you with a customized plan to achieve your goals.
Prior to joining Creative Planning, Tony worked for two major national financial companies. The majority of his career has been focused on executive stock plans, financial planning, and investment management for high net worth families.

Tony received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and a minor in Finance. He currently holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® credential designated by the Center for Fiduciary Studies and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ designation awarded by the College for Financial Planning.

Tony and his wife Jennifer have two children – Sienna and Allaya. With over 21 years of military service, Tony currently serves as a Warrant Officer in the Texas Army National Guard, Infantry Brigade Combat Team. Tony’s time in the US Marines and Army included three deployments, two combat deployments including Operation Southern Watch and Operation Enduring Freedom. Multiple national deployments to include hurricane assistance & rescue, civil unrest, border missions, national forest fires, and Covid Pandemic Relief. Tony is a decorated veteran with a Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, five Army Achievement Medals, and Texas Medal of Merit.
