Rinar serves as a Wealth Manager for Creative Planning, Inc. Utilizing a disciplined approach, Rinar works with clients to develop a cohesive strategy to help meet their most complex goals and needs. This comprehensive approach covers wealth management issues in the areas of investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, business succession planning, insurance, tax and charitable planning. His approach focuses first on a thorough understanding of your circumstances in order to provide you with a truly customized plan to help achieve your goals.
Prior to joining Creative Planning, Rinar worked at a major national financial services company for nearly 17 years. In his most recent Vice President role, he covered the Western Region of 60 branches and two call centers while representing the 2nd largest charity in the United States. In previous roles, he was also responsible for overseeing client assets, shaping advanced financial concepts training and delivering presentations on various investment themes. During his tenure at his former firm, Rinar was the recipient of multiple awards including four President’s Circle Awards.
Rinar received a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Utah, with a concentration in Business Management. In addition, Rinar earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation (CAP®) from the American College and holds the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. He has volunteered on the board of the Intermountain Suzuki String Institute, a non-profit organization in Salt Lake City that inspires young musicians to achieve their potential. He currently serves on the board for the University of Utah Business School Alumni Association.
Rinar is fortunate to be loved by his wife of 22 years and 6 children, including two sets of twins, ranging in age from 4 to 16 years old. He enjoys golfing, playing the piano with his wife and kids, triathlons, the outdoors and plenty of family time.
