Rick serves as a Wealth Manager for Creative Planning. Utilizing a disciplined approach, Rick works with clients to develop a cohesive strategy to meet their most complex goals and needs. This comprehensive approach covers wealth management issues in the areas of tax, estate planning, investment management, business succession planning, corporate stock option planning, insurance, retirement planning, and charitable planning. Rick will work with you personally to understand your needs and provide you with a customized game plan to achieve your goals.
Prior to joining Creative Planning, Rick served as a financial advisor for a large investment management and financial planning company where he was responsible for managing the investment portfolios and handling the many other financial needs of the firm’s clients. He also served on the firm’s investment committee and contributed to numerous marketing efforts via radio, television, on-line, and print.
Rick received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Finance from Walsh College. He also received his Masters of Business Administration from Michigan State University. Rick has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute. To further the enrichment of others, Rick teaches graduate level investment courses for Walsh College.
Rick is married to April and they have two sons, Alexander and Dominic. When he and his wife are not enjoying their sons’ football and soccer games, they maintain a close relationship with family and friends.
