Chris North, CFP®, Wealth Manager

Chris serves as a Wealth Manager, working directly with clients to develop a cohesive strategy to meet their most complex goals and financial needs. His comprehensive approach helps solve wealth management issues in the areas of retirement planning, investment management, tax, estate planning, business succession planning, corporate stock option planning, insurance and charitable planning. Chris will use his years of experience in finance to work with you personally to understand your needs and provide you with a customized plan to achieve your goals.

Prior to joining Creative Planning, Chris worked for a major national financial services company as a Vice President, Senior Account Executive managing a practice of $1.5 billion. He achieved numerous milestones during his eight and half years at the company including the Certified Financial PlannerTM designation, two President’s Circle Awards, several Chairman’s Awards, and multiple Leadership and Achiever Awards. Chris was also nominated and selected by senior management as the “Best of the Best” Senior Account Executives within the Private Client Group and asked to attend the company’s Inaugural Practice Management Institute. In 2019*, Chris was ranked as the #23 Financial Advisor in the state of Connecticut on Barron’s list of ‘Top Financial Advisors by State’.

Chris received a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from Gettysburg College. He is married to his wife Aimee and has four children, Nicole, Skylar, Boden, and Grayson. Chris enjoys spending time with his family and managing softball.
