Austin serves as a Wealth Manager, working directly with clients to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans to address their goals and most complex financial needs. Austin practices in the areas of retirement planning, investment management, tax planning, estate planning, business succession planning, risk management, employee benefits, education planning, and charitable planning. Austin’s approach focuses on a thorough understanding of your circumstances in order to provide you with a truly customized plan to help achieve your goals. Austin has spent his entire career in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Creative Planning, Austin served as a client advisor for ultra-high net worth individuals and families at an independent wealth management firm. Austin was responsible for having a holistic understanding of his clients’ circumstances and worked closely with them to maintain a unified strategy that included investment management, banking and trust services, comprehensive financial planning, and family wealth education.
Austin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Master of Science degree in Finance from Texas A&M University, graduating magna cum laude. Austin is also a Texas CPA and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
Austin and his wife, Emily, have two children. In his spare time, Austin enjoys golfing, biking, serving at their local church, and spending time with family and friends.
