Mark Deters, AIF®, QKA®, Signs on to Serve Greater New York Area
OVERLAND PARK, Kan., July 13, 2022 — Creative Planning, LLC (“Creative Planning”), one of the nation’s largest Registered Investment Advisers (“RIA”), is pleased to announce that Mark Deters, AIF®, QKA®, has joined the firm as a Managing Director – Retirement Services serving the greater New York area. In his role, Mark will consult with plan sponsors to help them understand how they can design a stronger retirement program on behalf of their plan’s participants, fiduciaries, and supporting staff.
Having worked as a third-party administrator, recordkeeper, and fiduciary advisor, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge to advising his clients. As a fiduciary, Mark’s primary obligation is to look out for the best interests of plan participants and their beneficiaries.
Mark’s approach to supporting organizational retirement plans follows the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® process as well as the Department of Labor’s best practices. This expertise has the potential to not only result in stronger participant outcomes but also help protect the plan’s fiduciaries through an ongoing due diligence process.
