Jeremy Laughton, JD, CFP®
Wealth Manager
Jeremy serves as a Wealth Manager, working closely with his clients to create and implement personalized financial plans that address all aspects of a healthy financial life including investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement and employee benefits.
Prior to joining Creative Planning, Jeremy worked as an attorney at a boutique law firm, where he specialized in estate planning, business formation, estate administration and real estate law. He has also worked as a real estate settlement attorney and title agent, during which time he assisted clients through closings on multi-million-dollar real estate deals.
Jeremy received his bachelor's degree in Economics from Reed College in Portland, Oregon, and his Juris Doctorate from the George Washington University Law School, where he graduated with honors. He is admitted to the practice of law in both Maryland and Virginia. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys reading, visiting museums and attending concerts.
